    SENIOR CREATIVE STRATEGIST

    Klyr Men · Nijmegen (hybrid) · full-time · starting September

    You'll be the creative growth engine behind a fast-growing international start-up. You'll get the space, the trust, and the budget to put Klyr on the map.

    What we offer you

    Where & who you'll work with

    You'll work from our beautiful office in Nijmegen, by the old harbour. A compact, welcoming co-working spot: bright, modern, and close to the water. You'll get your own desk with two screens, surrounded by other entrepreneurs.

    The team is international and based not only in Nijmegen but also in the United Kingdom and the Philippines. You'll work closely with the founder every day to translate the marketing vision into execution, and you'll lead the creative team: copywriters, video editors, UGC creators, and freelancers — the people who turn your strategy into content that works.

    We test a lot, learn fast, and love people who take initiative instead of waiting for instructions. You won't get a ready-made playbook here, but you will get the space to build one yourself.

    About Klyr Men

    Klyr started from a simple conviction: men deserve better products to look good.

    The products are developed together with our factory, are 100% vegan & cruelty-free, and are now sold all over the world — from the United States to Australia. Men's cosmetics is a category that's growing extremely fast, with a lot still to be won.

    From founder Guido Buitinck:

    What you'll do

    In your first three months, everything revolves around creative strategy: which ads work, why they work, and what we'll test in the coming weeks. Concretely:

    • You lead the weekly Creative Strategy Meeting with copywriters, UGC partners, editors, and creators.
    • You translate ad performance into new hooks, angles, scripts, and briefs.
    • You lead the creative team and make sure everyone knows what needs to be made.
    • You keep a sharp eye on the market, trends, competitors, and winning creatives, researching them continuously.
    • You build structure so we can test faster, smarter, and more consistently.
    • You help find and manage new team members when needed.
    • You create performance updates and reports that make clear what's working, what isn't, and what we'll execute in the coming weeks.

    Over time you'll grow and also start leading the following teams: email marketing, influencer/affiliate marketing, Google, and Amazon.

    What this role is not: you don't run the ads yourself in Meta Ads Manager, and you don't need a background in grooming or skincare. You also don't have to be able to do everything from day one — but we do expect you to learn fast and take on more ownership over time.

    Who you are

    You think strategically and analytically, but you also understand that good marketing doesn't come from dashboards alone. You're independent, eager to learn, and you enjoy leading people with clear feedback. You steer marketing from the top, keep control, and translate strategy into content.

    You're decisive, pragmatic, and able to make calls quickly when needed — without endless hesitation.

    What you bring: experience with DTC/e-commerce, paid social, or creative strategy · strong analytical and communication skills · good English · the ability to translate strategy into concrete action · decisiveness.

    Nice to have: experience with Meta Ads, UGC, or performance creatives · managing copywriters/editors/creators · tools like Notion, Slack, Shopify, Klaviyo · AI tools for research and content.

    Where you'll grow

    You don't have to run at full speed from day one. But we do have a clear picture of the journey:

    • In the first months you get a grip on our creative strategy and learn exactly how our Meta Ads and creatives work.
    • Around six months the creative engine runs noticeably stronger: better ideas, sharper briefings, and faster test cycles — and ideally you see that reflected in your numbers (ROAS, CAC, CTR, creative hit rate).
    • Within a year you oversee and steer multiple marketing channels, and grow toward Head of Marketing.

    How fast that happens is largely up to you. Take ownership and deliver, and there's all the room to grow faster.
